Our family kitchen is where it all started.
We all grew up getting together in the kitchen, helping when we could – and sometimes helping meant staying out of the way! Family would gather around a big table of homecooked food. Buckner’s Family Restaurant was founded with a mission to share the simple flavors of good southern food with the world. We want people to experience joy through good food and genuine service – it’s that simple. Mr. and Mrs. Buckner with the help of their two sons and their wives, opened the family business in 1980. For three generations now, we have taken pride in being rooted in Christian values and treating ALL who walk through our doors with the same serving spirit.
Quality Ingredients for Quality People
Our ingredients are of the best quality and we source directly from Georgia when it is possible. We start each day making everything we can from scratch. We roll out our dough by hand, freshly bake our peach cobbler each day, and whip the potatoes ourselves. Our chicken, pork, and beef are brought in fresh, cut by hand, and cooked to perfection right onsite. Our stoves and ovens burn all day long to ensure that no matter what time you join us, you will always have the freshest, most enjoyable experience we can offer, whether you are dining in with us or placing a to-go order.
We serve our fresh, daily menu family-style, meaning everything is brought to your table on a Lazy Susan for sharing a meal with your family and friends. Our meals are made from simple ingredients, and our menu rotates each day. Each time you visit Buckner’s Family Restaurant, you will be treated with excellent service to a homecooked meal.
